Ruben A. Castro, MD
Refined aesthetic surgery focused on facial, breast, and body contouring, results that feel elegant, anatomical, and true to you.
Aesthetic Philosophy
Dr. Castro completed six years of integrated plastic surgery training at UC Irvine, followed by the Bruce Connell Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship, an advanced aesthetic program based in Newport Beach with additional training in Texas and San Francisco.
The fellowship is known for complex primary and revision aesthetic surgery with an emphasis on proportion, harmony, and longevity over trends. Every plan is built to age gracefully, elegant enhancement rather than obvious transformation.
Approach & Precision
Before medicine, Dr. Castro served as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman attached to Marine units, an environment that demanded calm under pressure, discipline, and uncompromising standards of care.
That mindset carries into his aesthetic work: deliberate planning, meticulous technique, and a focus on safety and predictability at every step.
Education & Background
Dr. Castro studied Physiology & Neuroscience at UC San Diego before earning his medical degree from UCLA. His plastic surgery residency and aesthetic fellowship have been anchored in California's leading academic centers with a consistent focus on aesthetic surgery.
The throughline: combine rigorous training, anatomical understanding, and an elevated eye for proportion to create results that feel balanced, modern, and quietly confident.
